No Cook Chia Jam

A delicious and healthy jam recipe that you and the kids can eat guilt free! This recipe offers antioxidants from the berries, omega 3 essential fatty acids from the chia seeds and other amazing vitamins, minerals and gut loving constituents.

Ingredients:

1 heaps cups of fresh or frozen berries

1.5 tablespoons of chia seeds (white or black is fine)

1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract

Method:

  1. Blend all ingredients using a food processor or stick blender. Blend until desired consistency (smooth or slightly chunky)

  2. Transfer into an air tight jar or container and store in fridge for 1 - 1.5 weeks

  3. Spread on toast, bread, scones, top off ice-cream, add to yoghurt or freeze into icy poles. Enjoy!
